ANCO—Educating and Empowering the Northern California Cancer Community. As you know, ANCO is the regional resource for the Northern California cancer community. We provide in depth education, practice management strategies, connections to local clinical trials, a robust job portal, and vital advocacy efforts to empower oncologists and advanced practice providers to maximize their academic and clinical expertise resulting in the best care for patients. After an extensive rebranding process, ANCO is announcing the following changes:
Email Address—ANCO’s new Email address is
director@anco.org. Please add this Email address to your address book to ensure that you receive important communications from ANCO.
Brochure—a
new ANCO brochure highlighting the role ANCO plays in the cancer care community in Northern California. The
ANCO FAX News will be retired effective April 1. In addition, ANCO Email/FAX broadcasts from info@anco-online.org will cease effective April 1. Weekly editions of the
California Oncology Weekly (COW) will continue, but subscribers will be notified of new editions of the COW as well as receive other ANCO communications via:
- The ANCO Report, ANCO’s official e-communications vehicle for news and information for members. We have subscribed all ANCO physician members, practice contacts, and corporate member representatives to The ANCO Report.
- @ANCO_News, ANCO’s official Twitter handle. Be sure to follow us!
This announcement will be the first e-communication sent via
The ANCO Report and @ANCO_News. Finally, ANCO’s new website—www.anco.org—will be a membership password-protected website and will launch in early April. Your Email address and a user created password will be needed to access membership benefits such as membership resources, archived meeting materials, and the new site’s enhanced functionality. (i.e., patient and reimbursement assistance, a job board for employment opportunities offered and sought, and a clinical trials search function). ANCO will send a separate announcement when www.anco.org launches with instructions on how to set up your profile. We know you will find the new ANCO of value and we look forward to your suggestions for even more improvements. Thank you for your continuing support!
