Meeting Overview: 

The 27th Multidisciplinary Management of Cancers: A Case-Based Approach meeting will present the most current information on multidisciplinary approaches in clinical oncology. It will consist of tumor board cases covering breast, central nervous system, head and neck, hematologic malignancies, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, lymphoma, melanoma, supportive oncology and survivorship, and thoracic cancers.

Faculty will present the tumor board cases, followed by a discussion with a panel of surgical, radiation, and medical oncologists from Stanford, UC Davis, UC San Francisco, The Permanente Medical Group, and the practice community.

Learning Objectives:

• Develop multidisciplinary treatment strategies based on national clinical practice guidelines in oncology in order to improve quality of care for cancer patients.
• Discuss relevant clinical trials with cancer patients and refer appropriately.
